Studies have shown that around 90% of women do have some cellulite somewhere on their body, often where it’s visible and potentially embarassing (thighs, arms, etc.), according to Howard Murad, M.D. and author of The Cellulite Solution.
Cellulite is fat cells that have absorbed toxins, become disfigured and bloated, and bulged through their cell walls and into the skin’s middle layer, where they pull on the surrounding tissue to create the unattractive and dimpled skin surface you know as cellulite.
Contrary to some older and outdated medical literature out there, you can do something about cellulite, and most people find that with the appropriate measures they can eliminate cellulite naturally without drugs or surgery.
In this video I’ve got she covers a few essential tips, all of which I absolutely agree with (especially the part about the importance of water: you must drink plenty of water to help your body cleanse itself of those toxins), and I’ve got a few additional, but vital, pieces of information for you after it, so be sure to have a quick look at that as well:
How Much Does Weight Loss Really Help?
Quite a bit, but it will not completely eliminate it no matter how much weight you loose–I’ve seen women who quit smoking and went on a good detox diet before losing weight, and that helped them more than losing weight did. One woman got rid of most of her cellulite before losing weight, and she’s noticed that when she puts on weight the cellulite does come back to a small degree, but it never gets anywhere near as bad as it was.
Eliminate the Toxins
If you smoke and/or drink excessively, one of the best things you can do that will start showing noticeable results within a week or two is to STOP DOING THAT. If you don’t eat well, fixing that will go a long ways towards helping you lose your cellulite–you don’t even have to lose weight, just cleaning up your diet and getting enough fresh fruit and vegetables, complex carbohydrates, quality protein, and some good-for-you fat (olive oil, fish, nuts, etc.) will help. I’ve also heard that glucosamine supplements can help, as well as seaweed baths 3 times a week which will help increase circulation.
When Diet and Exercise Doesn’t Cut It
My best experience with cellulite treatment is with something concocted by Joey, a close friend of mine, and I must say that this particular cellulite treatment has worked wonderfully for me, and even more impressive is I’ve seen it work on about half a dozen other women he’s tried it on, with very good consistency. He was so enthusiastic about his discovery that he has decided to turn it into a program and a newsletter (have a look at The Cellulite Reduction Report–Volume 3, Issue 9), so I wouldn’t be much of a friend if I didn’t try to help him out a bit on my blog. One of the first women that we “experimented” on (she’s our close friend and was glad to give it a go), was Uretta, look at what she said:
Hello Joey
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the regular newsletters, they keep me motivated.
I ordered your program a few months months ago, I started following it regularly as I was determined to get results. And results I have indeed gotten.
I should inform you that my job requires me to sit at a computer for around 8 hours on a daily basis. I am not a ‘big’ woman, I am 5’1″ and weigh 100lbs, but before I started your program I had very “chunky” thighs with cellulite (way too much of it).
After doing the program around 3 or 4 times a week, I was able to wear a bikini and had much less noticeable cellulite when I went on holiday at the end of last month.
I am very pleased with the results compared to what I’ve tried in the past; I was at the gym for 4 years before this and had never seen such great results in a such short amount of time.
I now combine it with some cycling, I do 30 minutes on a stationary bike and 30 – 40 minutes of your program, I alternate the exercises to make it more interesting.
My butt is still not ‘super’ tight (yet), but all I can say is that it’s sitting pretty high now and I absolutely love it. Now, I don’t even give a second thought about showing my thighs and butt in a bikini – because they look great!
Joey, I am so glad that I was persistent with researching about toning, firming & cellulite reduction and ‘landing’ on your website. I always talk about you at work and when I tell people that you send ongoing emails, they cannot believe it.
They also think that I will be back at the gym because ‘I will soon be bored with your simple program.’
Well I have news for them, I ain’t going back!! :-).
Thanks a million,
Uretta Golabian
