Right, well today I’m going to show you how to properly fit and install a door handle, from start to finish. I presume that you’ve already hung your door and bought the door handle that you want, and also that you own the necessary tools.
This is a 20-30 minute job, if that, and not particularly difficult at all, although do pay careful attention to the bits about what to chisel, where, and in what sequence as correcting this if you go wrong will be nearly impossible: you can’t put back wood that you’ve already removed, right? Better to not remove quite enough and then go back and correct this, than to remove too much and get yourself in a predicament that you’ll have a hard time rectifying. Have a look:
